Tournament Details
Open to schoolboy’s clubs/schools age groups under 9 to under 15years . Under 9 and under 10 participate in a 7 a side competition whilst the under 11 to 15 full sided 11a-side. The competition is run under the authorisation of the Staffordshire Football Association Ltd. and is open to players from Ireland , Norway ,Sweden , Staffordshire and the surrounding areas and other parts of the UK . The Age elegibility for this tournament is based on the year in which the participant was born (see overpage) . Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches and every effort is made to place teams away from their home league teams . The format is as always a world cup format with sections of 4 playing a round robin competition with the top two teams progressing towards the cup quarter/semi finals and the lower teams towards the plate competition. The idea is to provide a competition offering all young participants fun just taking part .In other words to have a holiday break to remember .Games will be played on Monday,Tuesday And Wednesday . It is a proven formula and continues to grow in popularity. Added attractions are the opportunity to take in A nearby premiership match, do a tour of Anfield and /or Old Trafford and indeed visit the renowned Alton Towers theme park . Our team of officials, Solar Staff, the staff of the Heele University are on hand to help where necessary.
